CHARLOTTE, NC AIRPORT TRAVEL. - 3/30/36

I had a 3 and a half hour layover in Charlotte NC in my travels back to Pensacola. Thankfully, the weather looks clear enough that I won’t have to stay overnight. I love solo traveling at 17 and it would completely kill my mood. I came from my first flight in RDU as a connection and it was intensely less crowded and stressful than Charlotte. Neither seem as affected by the global affairs but Charlotte was definitely on the more crowded side of things, especially terminal A and B, which I landed and walked through.

As I sit with my bojangles in between the terminals I have a lovely view to calm my nerves before getting on the next flight. I enjoyed browsing through the LEGO store and trying to hold myself back from picking up a new Harry Potter set, though I made sure to get a picture to send to my boyfriend while I was there (hint hint.) I am upset he isnt with me this time, but I plan to take him along during the summer.

I have many working days with the parrots this time. Enough to get in more hours I need and get some good parrot therapy. I hope to bring back some stuff for my parrot from the local store in Pensacola Ive been dying to visit.

I have a ton of days for random shit. Most importantly the beach and melting pot, which I look forward to the most. But I have gliding on one of those and I am afraid to tell people I have a drastic fear of heights. But theyll figure that out one way or another. It isn’t as bad as when my panic disorder was unmanaged and I had parasailing. I felt like I was going to die from being so high up and seeing the jellyfish and mini sharks beneath us. Also that boat ride out there wasn’t exactly pleasant.

Anywho. Will enjoy the rest of my time sitting here in Charlotte. The airport is bigger than I expected and maybe Ill do one more lap around but I doubt it.
